Vintage Japanese Silk Chirimen Furoshiki – Reversible Wrapping Cloth

A beautifully preserved vintage Japanese furoshiki — a traditional square wrapping cloth with centuries of cultural heritage. Crafted from 100% silk in the chirimen (crape) weave, this reversible cloth is as functional as it is elegant. Use it to wrap gifts, bottles, or everyday items, or display it as a textile art piece.

Chirimen is a fine crinkled silk fabric traditionally used for kimono, prized for its soft texture and rich drape. Furoshiki wrapping is a versatile Japanese art form with many folding techniques.
